Why we love this watch

The 116519LN is one of the more quietly distinctive references in the Daytona range. The combination of an 18ct white gold case, ceramic tachymetric bezel, and silver dial creates a cohesive, monochromatic palette that collectors have come to refer to as the Ghost configuration. At 40mm, the case sits proportionally well on the wrist and carries the characteristic Daytona case architecture with its polished and satin-finished surfaces. Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 4130, a column-wheel chronograph movement manufactured entirely in-house. It offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours and is known for its robustness and servicing efficiency relative to earlier Daytona calibres. The Oysterflex bracelet is a vulcanised elastomer strap fitted over a titanium and nickel alloy blade, combining the flexibility of rubber with the structural rigidity more commonly associated with metal bracelets. It is secured via the Oysterlock folding clasp. This example is dated 2021, described as mint condition, and is offered complete with its original box and papers. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres.
